About Luther Crest

30 Years of Service . . . and Counting

Luther Crest is proud of its 30+ years of service providing exceptional lifestyles and health care to Lehigh Valley seniors. From our origins as a neighborhood community for seniors, our continuing care campus now includes:

  • Beautifully designed independent living apartment homes and freestanding cottages
  • Newly renovated personal care and memory care centers
  • Short-term rehabilitation and traditional nursing care
  • An expansive Wellness Center
  • Community Center
  • Medical Arts Center

As a not-for-profit, Continuing Care Retirement Community, Luther Crest is committed to delivering the highest quality care and service to those we serve. We provide our residents and their families with a plan for the future – and peace of mind knowing that compassionate care and support will be available should health care needs change.

In addition, Luther Crest is unique in that its grounds are accredited as a Level 1 arboretum by the ArbNet Accreditation Program, a program sponsored by the Morton Arboretum, Botanic Gardens International and the American Public Gardens Association. Luther Crest joins only 14 other accredited arboreta in Pennsylvania. Accreditation is designed to foster establishment and professionalism of arboreta, identify arboreta applicable for scientific or conservation activities; and advance the planting, study and conservation of trees.

The trees on the beautiful Luther Crest campus include mature trees remaining from when the area was undeveloped and newer, younger ones planted during the nearly 35 years the retirement community has occupied the property. The trees are primarily native to Pennsylvania and the Middle States region which do well in this setting.
